Remember that Smithy user?

The guy who whined how he's going to the police to complain about a dozen of people here for committing the crime of trolling because everyone said he'll have trouble securing a job at a school with a criminal record?

Here's some PM he (under the alias of BlackMilk) sent me for entertainment. A very strange man indeed. I guess I should be worried he's hiding around the corner with a knife, ready to take me down.

icon1.gifI like your style, you remind me of an early days me!
fruitedeli you are so eloquent with your words when at war and I did admire what you said to poor old Smithy :D I used to be like you until I was trained on how to control discussions and forums. We get paid for doing this if you can prove you are capable, I'll link you to the companies involved. I'm currently influencing discussions on reddit and facebook promoting a whole range of expensive beauty products. I use this forum as my practice session to keep my skills fresh because most of the users on this forum are in the age range I influence to buy these products. It is all well known brands and legitimate companies and if you're good the earnings are very very good. You just need to be strong and know how to fight off those who could be competition or just general trolls trying to !!!! your influential discussions up. I'll keep an eye on you, 2 work it better than 1

Why does the OP encourage these so called trolls ? Just report it to mods.

The more a targeted member feeds them etc, the more a so called troll will post abusive, and sometimes overly personal, messages.

Some members may also view combative posts as being entertaining and thus the inappropriate behaviour can proliferate.

Sorry to come across as an old fuddy duddy, but last month I had to deal with somewhat abusive posts being targeted at myself. Best advice I received was to nip it in the bud.

Of course, whether or not it's true, is another matter entirely.

I'm just a little miffed that I haven't been contacted. I wouldn't mind getting paid for 'doing this'.:)

It is beyond me why members trade in and/or debate this nonsense.

    Still, it's a free world.
