i must admit i dont usually order when a sale is coming up, i might take the sandals back as the strap that goes accross the front is too tight and they hurt her, she has only worn them the once, just have to find the delivery note know.

a little off topic but how annoying is it when you order some things a week or 2 ago to find them in the sale at half price:mad: i got my daughter some sandals for a party my husband some cufflinks and something for my sons nursery and all are in the sale and have been used so i cant reorder and take back.

    Ggggrrrrrrrr!!!!!

I think its worse when it smells of cigarette smoke!

Would this work or is it just too sneaky???:o :o:o Buy another pair of sandals, cufflinks and whatever else in the sale and then take those back for a refund with the original receipt you got with the full price ones. Then you would really be getting them for the sale price.A bit of running about but if the stuff is heavily reduced it is worth it.;)

So they didn't send you an email stating that your order had been cancelled? Did you not query why none of your items had been delivered before you got the letter or was the letter received on the same day your order was due?
Sorry for questions but I need to know!! My order is due tomorrow - if it doesn't arrive in the morning I will be on the phone straight away asking where it is!!

No,the letter came about a week after I placed the order I think. They didn't email.

I didn't think it was odd that the items didn't arrive because during the sale they always advise that items may take longer than normal to arrive, and when I was placing the order a lot were coming up as 'this item is expected in 2-4 weeks' or 1 to 2 weeks, etc.

Even if I had wondered where they were I'd have been too scared to ring because I know I'd cheated!

If you order sale stuff from the directory they don't normally have the 'red dot', so you could order in the sale and take back to shop for a refund on your original full price receipt, if you still have it and it's within 28 days.

Can somebody help me? I am new to all this! have VIP slot at 6pm. If I add stuff to my basket and it is in stock, is it then reserved as mine or is it not mine until I actually check out. Just wondering if stock availability can alter whilst you are still shopping or if once it is in your basket it is secured. Thanks!!

The sale stuff in store will have red dots on it so you cant return that and get full price back...I work there, so ask any questions !!!!
