Oh well - in 10 years I have managed to get one VIP slot despite maintaining a good account with Next. This year I still can't get a VIP slot - even for Friday. Really peeved as I intended to spend a lot of money with them due to expecting twins in November and it slooks like all the baby and maternity stuff is disappearing quickly.

System also went down for me, but phoned CS and they took my order over the phone which was much quicker actually. A couple of mins and £375 later and it's all done and dusted!!

I don't think it would make a lot of difference to be honest, there are more websites out there than just MSE, they are people all over the country trying to get one. One or two people holding back off MSE is a drop in the ocean.

Def not getting logged into my VIP slot. For those of you that have been successful did you get your VIP slot before you got your email inviting you to or did you get your slot then received your email later?

im so peed off i only want 10 things and cause i'm not a boomin vip there wont be nothing left by saturday, next are a bunch of muppets, i've not bought from them before but though as the sale was coming up id get an account, so i've wasted 3.75 on a book and looks like they'll be loosing a new customer if i dont get anything by sat.
doesnt seem very fair on those on a budget who cant afford to get vip status by spending hundreds before the sales. :mad:

Couldn't get on via my VIP link but phoned and they took my order over the phone.

Had 36 items on my list and only 2 not in stock! now £350 quid lighter!!!
