Just gone to redeem my points for a £10 amazon voucher and they've disappeared from the website. Emailed them to ask what was going on and this was their replyThank you for your email.
It has been decided that it is no longer appropriate to offer Amazon
vouchers on the Consumer Pulse panel due to the fact that Amazon sell a
large amount of items that the panel measures the purchasing of I.e.
CDs, DVDs and Books. However we're looking at an exciting new way of
rewarding Consumer Pulse members which will enable them to spend their
rewards in a much wider range of shops. More details on this will be
coming up later in the year.
We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.
I'm stuck as to what to redeem my points for now as i don't do much shopping instore, only online! :eek:0 -
I hope they will replace them with some online shops to buy from like you I do just about all of my shopping onlineThanx

I hope they start offering some multishop giftvouchers, eg Love2Shop or Capital Bonds, that way we have a larger variety to choose from

I wonder then are the next/arcadia vouchers going to stop too then?
I buy loads of stuff from next, if they go I'm not really interested in anything else, they have got some new day trip ones I noticed but there not for anything we'd use.
Anyone know the answers to the 2 photo questions on this months comp? http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=23331650 -
Awww...
I just received a letter today through the post and was looking at the vouchers on offer. There is no amazon.co.uk I realised or play.com
Does anyone know how they can afford to pay out so much. I am so happy nonetheless
Sorry for the paradox
Can you use the HMV vouchers online.
Guys, think about it this way, instead of spending money somewhere like debenhams, get debenhams vouchers and spend the money you would have spent there on amazon.co.uk
In the leaflet, ot says you can earn a maximum of £12 per month.0 -

£12 a month sounds very good- never had near that myself!
Its not they who can afford to give away so much, they are merely a survey company, a company wanting to sell something will contact valued opinions and aks for information, statistics on certain things, and either they will have a ready made survey of questions to ask or they will ask valued opinions to make up the survey. They pay a certain amount of money to do this and part of this pays the valued opinions staff, the rest goes to the people doing the survey. This is why we can get infrequent surveys, some being 2 mins long and paying well, others being 200 mins long and "forgetting" to pay- depends on who issued the survey and what they want.
I wouldn't worry about the company back ground- marketing costs companies £millions each year and they need to know they are getting things right, aiming it at the right people, this is why they will pay money to ensure they are not wasting money and is why survey companies like valued opinions fit quite aptly into the world of comsumerism.0 -

Wasn't clkaz talking about C/Pulse rather than Valued Opinions?
Although of course, your information applies to any survey site.0 -
I'm really disappointed in losing the Amazon vouchers I saved up for a long time and put mine, £360 worth towards a laptop from Amazon just before Christmas. That included a bit from other surveys too but I was hoping to do that again and get a pc.
They cant keep next, arcadia etc can they going by the reasons they have given for Amazon. I use next vouchers to give to my daughter.
I am at least glad that I didnt leave it any longer before cashing them in though or I would have not been able to get the laptop which made a huge difference to meThanx
