Although there have been winners who use that site, I no longer use it as last year Twitter changed my password - That was the only application I had granted access to at the time and it freaked me out.

In the past there have been teenagers on there - offering 1D tickets and laptops, and they are clearly only doing it to gain followers.

Its a shame as some of the companies are genuine.

I think DeepHeat and DeepFreeze (both 'proper' companies) have had comps on there recently so may not be worth entirely giving up on them.

I've had my Twitter password changed before I'd let any applications access the account... I think it can be done by bots etc from the login page - they guess the password etc. So wouldn't necessarily be down to the Competwition app.

I think Competwition is a legitimate site, but they don't control who posts the competitions... Caveat emptor and all that :rotfl:

When ever I enter the competition comps I always look who's twitter it is first. I found one once that was a teenage girl who was "giving away" something really expensive

I know the one you are talking about! Was for a PS4 and something else, defollowed and deleted the tweets. Her bio was 'I only follow back hot people' and just pictures of her in skimpy clothes saying hello boys with no mention of comps.
