Easter egg buying frenzy @ T*sco?
Options
I've just got back from Mr Ts and the "seasonal" aisle (where all the Easter eggs are) is absolute bedlam - people just grabbing armfuls, loading their trollies! I wondered if they'd reduced the eggs today, but was in there for about 45 mins and didn't hear anything being announced, sels still full price etc. I still don't know what was going on, I don't buy em myself so I'm not that bothered
But I'm willing to bet that there will be a scuffle or two before the day's out :rotfl: What's going on!!!???

Tesco do seem to be one of the few supermarkets still selling Easter eggs, Lindt chocolate bunnies etc. The shelves at my local one were well stocked and someone was wheeling out a cage with more earlier today.
In comparison, my local ASDA was "certainly uncontaminated by" Easter eggs yesterday, much to the disappointment of quite a few other customers, including some young ones.If you fold it in half, will an Audi A4 fit in a Citroen C5?

None of that in the Tesco I went to this evening, many eggs left and about three people in total walking around the aisle- this is in a Tesco Extra store. I guess people are just waiting for them to be reduced on Monday.0
