Appbounty - anybody use it?

Hi all,

My son is keen to use Appbounty. Apparently you can accumulate points and then transfer points to itunes vouchers amongst other things. Does anyone use it and is it safe? There are so many scam sites about now! Any help would be appreciated.

After a quick scour around about it, I'd say not worth it. I've seen these types of schemes in various forms for years. Whether it be paid to sign up to other peoples services, paid surveys and the like it's the same deal.

Sure you could probably earn some rewards from it, but it usually requires a fair bit of work on your part to actually earn anything. Do a few hours overtime at work. Save up a few quid from your wages, because it will be lot quicker than these silly schemes.

little late to the party here, but I really like appbounty. Within my first week of using it (minimally) I'd made a £5 PSN card.
But make sure you do everything right, their support sucks. First 2 times you send an email you're talking to a bot usually. Meh

but yes! it's really easy. Don't stop your son.

I use it quite regularly and I have to admit it is pretty good. On average I get a £10 itunes voucher a month (equivalent to 6000 ab points). All you do is download sponsored apps, open them for 5 mins, then u get your points. You don't have to keep the app, you can delete it after. BE WARNED THOUGH! It is advised you do this over wifi only as some of the apps are in excess of 200MB. So it will run up costs if you are on a limited data plan. ALSO, some apps award the user with 12,000 ab points but you have to commit £20 to a casino site. BE CAREFUL!
