if you go bankrupt, does it clear all your debts?[/qu
Bankruptcy is an individual situation, wich needs to be done for the benefit of the individual, for the remainder of his life, therefore controling the process is the key to achieving the result required, so yes it can clear all your debts.

Even if he/she/it isn't a spammer, I really don't understand a word of that!! (and if they are a spammer would you trust a company that can't spell or use a spell check? (besides the whole 'preying on the desperate' thing of course...))

BR doesn't always clear all your debts (this is for the benefit of others reading this thread btw prompted by the spam...sorry, informer posts, not the OP, as that's a specific situation that doesn't involve this) - for example Student Loans, of either old style or new style (ie, taken out pre or post 1998) are not covered/wiped out by BR, so you are still liable for these debts. That shouldn't be a huge problem what with the means testing on them, but still, you end up still owing money and having to pay it back. Seek Professional FREE advice from either CAB, CSSS, or National Debtline (my personal fav is National Debtline, but all are FREE and unbiased professional advice that only have your best interests at heart, not trying to make money out of your problems).
Do not feed the trolls please.

I agree with PixiePie. A good place to start would be somewhere like National Debtline, but any of the free organisations should be able to start the process of getting help.

You can contact:
I would probably try National Debtline first.

They should be able to give some good initial advice by talking properly through the situation. I suspect they would then advise getting additional legal advice as well, as Rog2 indicates.
