It's my daughters 21st at the start of summer and she decided that she wanted to go camping with friends for a long weekend and has booked a tree top adventure to go on. We are will be providing a BBQ on the night of her birthday, however just wondered if anyone had any ideas of what we can serve, party games ideas (for young adults 21+) :beer:and decorations etc that won't cost a fortune!

What a brilliant idea! I'd think at that age drinking games would be pretty popular. A good one is ring of fire. You'll need a pack of cards, you arrange them in a ring and everyone takes it in turn to pick a card. Each number corresponds to an action/ rule that the card picker has to follow.
Another game is "I have never..." although that definitely isn't suitable if parents are going to be there!
Otherwise just general card games that don't necessarily have to involve drinking. Sh*thead is quite popular among young people.
As for decorations I think glowsticks would be good and useful once it gets dark. And maybe some birthday girl banners put up around the tent.
Hope your daughter enjoys her birthday0 -
Thanks Rachiibell there's some good ideas there! I was also thinking of getting some cheap water guns if the weather is good.0

If the weather is good how about a water balloon fight?
You could put some bunting up too.
Can you have a camp fire, if so take plenty of marshmallows.0 -
Water balloons that's a really good idea cheaper than water guns! Yeah we can have fires going to get some crumpets too. The "kids" are staying in a yurt so bunting etc should be easy to put up in and around there. Got some small lanterns just need to figure out how to hang them if there's no trees as don't want to put them on the ground. Getting quite giddy now!0
