Mineral Powder Foundation for Pale Skin

I don't wear make up often as it ruins my skin but on the few occasions I do, I used to use the mineral powder that Ruby & Millie did for Boots. Their palest shade is the only one that matches my skin tone and doesn't give me spots!
I just looked at replacing my almost empty foundation and discovered that they stopped making it 3 years ago!!!
Can anyone with pale skin with pink/yellow undertones suggest a mineral foundation that won't break the bank? There's no point me asking the counter staff, they always give me a shade of orange to make me look "tanned" which sits in my fine lines and makes me look twice my age!! I *like* being pale, thanks, I just want a foundation that doesn't make me look like Kat Slater.

When I used Mineral Foundations I used Lilylolo.
The great thing is you can order sample sizes for £1.49 so you can try a few to get the correct shade.

I've just ordered my first full size foundation from lily lolo after reading reviews from here. Ordered a few sample sizes first. Could range of colours for pale skin and like said above the samples are £1.49 even though very small sample you will get a few tries.0

I think it's been discontinued which is why it's hard to find.
Tbh, I wasn't very impressed with it.Ageing is a privilege not everyone gets.

Bare minerals is fab! Go into your Debenhams or any department store, they will try it on your skin & also give you some samples to try. It's the best!
Or QVC (where I buy my daughters from) offer buy it & try it for 30 days, if you don't get on with it just send it back & get a full refund!
If your pale, try 'light' (my daughter uses this one & she's pale) or 'fairly light'.
Good luck!0 -
I use the CLINIQUE range of mineral powders and have very fair skin with rosy cheeks and a red veiny nose!
I use the Clinique anti-redness cream on nose and cheeks and top with powder. It covers like a great foundation and never flakes or blotches. I regularly get comments about my skin, to which I smile and mutter about "good genes" but I lie!
The powder is £25 I think and I use a natural hair brush from Soap and Glory to apply it (£10).
It lasts at least a year (so 50p a week is VERY good value in my books...?)0 -
I haven't tried this personally, but there is a Bobbi Brown mineral foundation, which comes in Alabaster - http://www.bobbibrown.co.uk/products/5141/Makeup/Face/Foundation/index.tmpl?cm_re=Gnav-_-Makeup-_-Face-Foundation0

I am very pale with red/blue undertones, no yellow whatsoever!!
Everything makes me look tango'd
I am having good results with Laura Geller Balance & Brighten in Porcelain, I got it from QVC so you can return it and get a refund (but lose postage) if it doesn't suit, with their 30 day money back guarantee.
Its a baked product, so not loose mineral powder, but I am finding it better than any of the loose ones I have tried and there have been many over the years :rotfl:0 -
I'm a pale-y too. My shades are Fair for BareMinerals or Porcelain for Laura Geller (although technically this is a baked foundation not a mineral foundation).0
