Lack of wins causing paranoid delusions

Okay, so I haven't won anything since early last year, despite doing over 150 entries a day.

Aaaand the other day, I discovered my email account had been hacked when I started to get 'your password has been changed' emails (which I successfully reverted, and rechanged the password). But now I can't shake the feeling that someone has been in my emails deleting any WEMs that may have been there. Tinfoil hats at the ready folks.

I know the chances of that are slim, but still, funny how the mind grasps at straws to explain things!

Aha, so I'm not the only one ! :eek:
I've had a very similar scenario with BT email playing up for days and requesting I change my password.
Also an odd occurrence earlier this week. I was out and my phone beeped to say I had been mentioned on Twitter. Had a look and I'd had an email that said the company announced me as a winner on their Twitter page. Left it to reply to on my PC when I got home and it had gone ?? Not anywhere in my emails, not even in trash ?
I'm now in the process of switching to gmail but when you've been comping for years that is a massive task !

It's been happening a lot with me, I started to take it personally! First it was my PSN account being compromised, then I received an email telling me someone tried logging into my Dropbox account, then lots of other things. All rectified now, but the email thing still haunts me.

Maybe it's not just me then! :eek:

I would suggest you Google or Social Search your names, this brings up several of my wins.

I do that a couple of times a week. It seems very random what it brings up though? Several older wins appear at the start and I've found newer ones a few pages in ?

Another oddity, I printed a coupon from a facebook freebie on Wednesday and it said IP address logged as ******** but that wasn't the IP address that shows on my computer ??

If notifications disappear, then just search your username (without clicking on the profile) and it shows any correspondence to you via twitter. It annoys me that some websites only announce via FB because FB actually has a new policy whereby if you dont interact with certain pages for a while they stop appearing on your newsfeed.
