Whats the yearly work 'review' called? that your superviser gives you?

    Annual appraisal or pointless appraisal where you have to think of something that you are supposedly going to work on for the next year. But the job is so simple that there's nothing to improve on so you have to make something up. Everyone knows you're just waffling but has to go along with it.

    Well.

    I'm supposed to have monthly "Supervision" which can pretty much be with anyone who is a higher pay grade than me or is in supervisory role compared to me.

    And a yearly "Appraisal" with my line (or deputy) manager.

    They are designed to raise any issues work or personal on both employer and employee side. And of-course any training and development needs/opportunities.

    In my experience though, it's a bit hit or miss (more miss) if I actually get to have the supervision. More often it's recorded as having happened when in reality it didn't.
