Should I call my trustee?

Hi, I was sequestrated on the 23rd of March 2011 and so my 3 years of sequestration is now over. I haven't heard from my trustee saying that I've been discharged and therefore the standing order is still live and I made another payment at the start of this month. I thought I would've received a letter by now confirming that I was discharged and that I should cancel the standing order.
Should I get in touch with them and ask if I've been discharged or just wait until they get in touch?
Thanks for any advice

You need to contact your trustee to be absolutely sure about this, because you seem to be confusing your discharge from sequestration with the end of your Income Payment Agreement (IPA).
The IPA runs for up to three years from the date you signed it. So it could have started a couple of months after the date you were sequestrated - maybe even later. It might not have finished yet.
Your trustee should write to you to let you know when it is about to finish, or has finished - but they might not. So, give them a call to double check
However, you would have received your personal discharge from sequestration a year after you were sequestrated - unless the trustee had gone to court to have that extended, and you would have had correspondence about that.
The trustee would not normally let you know about the date of discharge. You can check on the Register of Insolvencies to see what it says - look on www.aib.gov.uk for the link.0 -
I'd call them and have all your details to hand.
We were told 36 payments had to be made for our IPA and we had equity in a car and in the house to buy back too.
Let us know how you get on, I' counting the days till ours is over and was wondering when we'd hear from the Trustee about being discharged from them.Weight: need to lose 71lbs - lost to date 0lbs

Yeah sorry i was getting mixed up. If i remember correctly i was discharged after the year and my payments started in June so hopefully June this year should be my last payment.
Thanks for the help0
