You'll be absolutely fine, there's a really excellent post with advice for dealing with the OR interview, I'll see if I can find it.

Don't panic, and if you can, try to think past it and think of your new post BR life x

Honestly, it's not as bad as you think it will be. Just try to relax and be truthful about evertyhthing. The OR isn't trying to catch you out and if you don't understand something just tell them.

Have a cup of tea and a slice of cake once it's over and breathe a sigh of relief....you're debt free!

    Good Luck

I was really nervous leading up to my OR interview, kept telling my partner how nervous I was and I didn't sleep much the night before.

The interview flew by! afterwards I couldn't work out why I was so worried. It's a 30 to 60 minute chat to work out what each debt is for, you don't have to give indepth details or anything like that. Then you go over any assets you may have on to the SOA, then you get a quick briefing on what happens next .. Job done, coffee drunk - gather anything they have asked you to get, post it off and get on with your day :)

As the others have said, it really is nothing to worry about. I was caught on the hop because the OR just phoned the day after my BR so I didn't have tome to panic! Honestly though it was fine, just a general chat a couple of things to clarify. My case was very simple though, no assets or surplus income. Mine was ten minutes and job done. Please don't worry, just be honest.

Everyone of us on here felt the same as you do when it came to declaring Bankruptcy or the OR Interview. Once you have had your interview pop back on here & let us know how it went? I bet you'll be surprised with relief. That's how I felt with mine. My OR was really nice & even chatted away with me & gave some advice on matters not relating to the Bankruptcy. And as a bonus, she had rather a sexy voice.

    All the best.

Well, iv had my OR Interview and what a relief the OR Examiner was really nice, for some reason i had images of being up in front of the headmaster for a telling off. Just got wait now to see if i have to make any payments. Think it's time for a well deserved cup of tea. Thanks for all the support.
