Hello Comping Friends,

I thought this thread would be a good idea to share your hard work, stress or happiness at the end of each comping day!

So I'll start, today is the end of my comping day and I entered 186 competitions.

Iv'e only just got back into coming again. It's my second week back into it and I can't wait for a few more weeks to roll along for some (hopefully) luck :rotfl:.

I have no idea of how many comps I've entered today and I've been doing it for over 5 years, but my son who will be 18 months old tomorrow won his 3rd competition today. A nice book, his previous wins have been from pictures of him dressed up at halloween x

Just done 114, and I'm done for today!

Got 2 parcels being redelivered today that I missed, so fingers crossed for me :rotfl:

I only started a few weeks ago but have set myself little goals each day, done 60 so far today,think I managed about 80 yesterday but with a teething 7 month old and a hyper 4 year old its hard to get time to sit at the laptop

A long way to go today, aiming for at least over 100 but only on 29 so far .

P.S. My comping times are differnent to others, I go to work at "different" times :rotfl:

Hello everyone, I also have no idea how many I enter, I would think about a hundred just wondering how do you all keep track ? do you jot down as you comp

I'm definitely not organised enough to keep a note of everything I enter :eek:
It would be a handy forum function if it could tell us how many green ticks we have - preferably on a 'per board' basis, so we could tell how many we'd entered in the Competitions Time live board.

I enter in the region of 300 a day, and win on average twice a week, so I'm happy with my numbers for the moment Beginning of the month and Fridays, I probably enter nearer 400.

I just wouldn't waste precious comping time keeping good notes of what I've entered... :rotfl: Sometimes, somewhat selfishly, I'll add Ts and Cs and prize details to a thread, so I know what I entered to win!

I honestly don't count how many comps I enter, I estimate at around 100 a day but I know it varies depending on how busy I am. I've got the kids off school at the moment so am barely keeping up with dailies! But I never keep track of what I've entered, I just enter and forget about it.

I use a spreadsheet to keep a track of all competitions I enter, including the date entered, prize, website, and closing date. That way I always know how many are still open and ones that have closed I can unsubscribe from to keep my email account free from too much spam.

Not that it's having much luck so far - 2 months in and haven't won anything yet!!!

and on the original point, I entered 118 yesterday but will try and beat that today! (slow day at work!!!)

Its not actually as time consuming as people think, I just keep a notepad up and every time I enter a competition, I write down the next number, EG:

3
4
5
6

And so on, try it, it definitely gives you more something to work towards and gives you that little more motivation to hit your targets. I don't record what I have done at the end of the day, but posting in this thread with your daily entries should you track what your doing.

Obviously you can try a spreadsheet as someone else stated, but I feel thats too much time consuming, see what works best for you but the main thing is, make sure it doesn't become a "chore".

Ah! I thought you made a full list of the comp / entry date / end date / prize etc etc. I can understand how writing numbers like that would be motivating, if you don't have tonnes of time to comp I do, so don't need to be any more motivated, otherwise I'd never do anything else :rotfl:
