Do we have any Bloggers online?

Thought I might try my hand at blogging about my comps, and general life I guess. Although, it's very ordinary. Not sure anyone would read it, or even find it to read!!

If there are bloggers on here, i'd love to have a little looksie at yours to get a couple of ideas on what its all about!

I've been thinking about this too - there's one blog in particular that's particularly inspiring, and I keep debating whether or not to drop an email to the person who writes it, and ask for her advice.

Might be worth you doing that, if there's any blog in particular you enjoy reading

Yes amateur blogger here, I don't make any money from it, never tried to, I've reviewed a few things but only those I genuinely like (which is why I hardly ever do reviews!) I don't feel compelled to update it every day either, just when i feel like it.

Like gholmes724, I don't think it's very easy to make money per se, but through reviews, etc, you should be able to accumulate things that you can save money by not needing to buy your own

You can, if the blog is popular, earn money through offering advertising etc on your pages, I think. Then there are referrer links for the likes of Amazon that earn you a set amount if a person clicks through, or - more commonly - a small percentage share of the user's purchase value.

I don't have my own blog, these comments are anecdotal from things I've read about setting up a blog.

Remember, though, that the more the blog becomes an earning tool, the more regularly you'll have to post. I suspect it could become a rod for your back!
