I'd like to go to a nice restaurant that's not too far from Belfast, preferably with rooms where you can stay overnight.

Willing to drive 40 miles or so for somewhere really nice.

Thanks in advance :)

Curran Court in Larne do lovely meals. We've been for meals a few times and have never been disappointed. Good friendly staff too. Never stayed there, but the rooms look very nice.

If you want to go somewhere really really really nice there's MacNean House. Fantastic food and fantastic rooms. It's just outside Enniskillen in Blacklion. So, much further than 40 miles. But I can't tell you how good the place is, well worth the drive Tara.

Newforge House is amazing, forgot all about it. The owners are super friendly and John a amazing chef. Can't speak highly enough of the place. Food is outstanding.

Balloo House - while they don't have rooms in Balloo House itself, they have deals for a 5 course meal in the restaurant and a nights accomodation in conjunction with a few local B&B's (all the rooms look very nice!).
