The Coming Robot Apocalypse of Me!

http://www.nytimes.com/2014/04/12/your-money/start-ups-offer-financial-advice-to-people-who-arent-rich.html?_r=1

The Zombie Robot Apocalypse is coming for asset managers. Dammit.

We charge 1% a year all up roughly. That's typical for Aus.

If you invested in a couple of Vanguard funds and used one of these companies to construct your portfolio you could pay about a third of that.

Sorry to hear about your impending unemployment.

Maybe you should retrain to be an Evil Overlord. There's always jobs open in despotism if you play your cards right.

That would be great. I could have minions and henchmen.

I think you'll be ok. By rights, the robot zombie of IDBs should have happened about 10 years ago but they still seem to be there.

Ah, ok. I've generally been on the cash/FX and equity side more. This seems to be more of a fixed income chappy. Basically a market maker but for bonds. I get that.

That's ok. You probably can't have an apocalypse of IDBs anyway because there aren't enough of them. It's more a zombie robot massacre.
