Nationwide Texts...

Just a quick one really for anyone still lurking around after having a completed mortgage through Nationwide.
How many different texts do they send throughout the process and what does the final one say?
We are due to complete on Wednesday and got the text to say solicitors have requested the funds for Tuesday, is there another one to say once the funds have been sent? are there any more after that?
They are a really handy notification source as they are sent instantly whenever there is an update and are very handy when you are at work as you get information without having to wait for solicitors!

Hi,
I too really liked the text messages from Nationwide, really helps you feel a bit more in the know. As for the last text, (this was a year ago for me) it said "We are delighted to inform you that we have now issued a formal mortgage offer. We look forward to completing based on this offer."
I never got any other messages saying that money had been transferred etc. Like I say though, that was a year ago so things might have changed. Good luck with you move!0 -
Last text I received was;
Your solicitors have requested your mortgage funds be released for a completion date of xx/xx/xxxx. If you wish to change this please inform your solicitor.
Hope this helps.
