help with amazon

Hi everyone
I have a query relating to a purchase from Amazon.co.uk and would really appreciate any help.
I want to buy a camcorder from the site (sold by Amazon itself) but couldn't find anything relating to the guarantee/warranty of the product.
Is there any standard guarantee/warranty offered by Amazon on such electrical products that anyone knows of?
Any help/extra advice would be really helpful.
Thank you

I don't know about Amazon itself, but all new "consumer durables", which would include camcorders, have to have a minimum of one year's guarantee when sold in the UK.
Why don't you send an enquiry to Amazon through their contact form, they should be able to give you all the details you need. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

Thanks for this. Makes things more clearer. I emailed Amazon yesterday with the same question but haven't received a reply yet.
Thanks though.Win £2008 in 2008 - Member no. 3950
