Lidl Chocolate Easter Chicken
My Lidl has had practically nothing on it's Easter shelves for the past week as everything has obviously already sold & not been restocked. I'd missed out on getting one of the Chocolate Chickens they had had this year sadly.
I rarely go to Lidl on Sunday, but decided to go there this morning to get some wine as a thank you gift for somebody. It was very busy in there, & whilst in the queue to pay, I stood looking around & then in amongst the bottles of Fairy Liquid that were on offer I spied a chocolate chicken looking at me .:)
I sauntered over there, hoping nobody else would nab it before I could. I checked that he wasn't damaged in anyway & then popped him into my basket.
Somebody must have put one in their basket & then changed their mind & stuck him in with the washing up liquid. I was obviously in the right place at the right time. So if the person who changed their minds reads this, thank you very much! The chocolate chicken along with the wine will make a very nice thank you gift indeed. :beer:

There was a huge display of them in my local Lidl yesterday afternoon. At least, I think it was them - they were all in bits so it was hard to tell.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
