    Hi LFNB,

    You're definitely not alone, and there is so much great advice on here. It sounds like you're really motivated, and I too am looking forward to payday to get my first overpayment done! I would second the YNAB software - it is already helping to keep me accountable and I'm getting a bit obsessed with updating it, but hate seeing my totals go down so don't want to overspend :)
