Sunday Times Where Was I? competition
The prize:
The winner and a guest will stay for three nights, B&B, at Castello di Casole, 12 miles from Siena. Set in a 4,200-acre estate, the 10th-century castle has been restored as an elegant five-star, all-suite hotel, with two restaurants and a spa. One dinner and one lunch for two, as well as a wine tasting or cookery class, are included.
Flights are with Vueling, which has a daily service to Florence from Gatwick. Also included is an economy-class hire car.
The prize must be taken between May 5 and June 6, June 10 and 20 or September 15 and October 25, 2014, subject to availability. Extra conditions apply:
Flights
1. The flights must be booked at least fifteen days in advance of the first leg. Bookings may not be modified once the tickets have been issued.
2. The voucher will include airport fees and the checking-in of one suitcase of up to 23 kilos to each passenger.
3. Winner and his/her companion must travel together on both legs and tickets should be requested together by the winner. Under no circumstance will tickets be issued separately.
4. VUELING will not be responsible, under any circumstances, for the travel expenses to and from the origin and destination airports, or for the cost of accommodation, or meal expenses incurred by the passenger.
5. Pursuant to Article 3 of Regulation (EC) No. 261/2004, the flights object of this Promotion are excluded from its area of application as the flight will be free of charge.
6. Any information given by participants in this Promotion is provided on a voluntary basis for the purpose of enabling VUELING AIRLINES, S.A. to manage the tickets. This information will not be disclosed to third parties. VUELING will be responsible for the treatment of the data file. Car hire
1. The lead driver must be aged 21 or over and must hold a valid driving license for a minimum of 1 year. If the lead driver is aged under 23, a young drivers fee may apply. The winner does not need to be the lead driver on the rental car. Subject to certain endorsements. (In some instances, you may also need an international driving permit.)
2. The prize is for the pre-paid cost of the car hire only. Winners will be liable to pay for any optional/additional extras requested (such as child seats, GPS, winter tyres etc) or additional fees applied (such as one way rental fees, young drivers fee etc) which will be payable locally.
3. The driver will need a valid Credit Card in the lead drivers name for collection of car hire which will need to have sufficient funds available to cover the security deposit and fuel charges (between 100GBP and 2,000GBP).
