Post Office launched a current account in Norwich/East of England in 100 branches earlier this year, offered £100 one4all gift card for switching, apparently now rolling out nationally, so worth waiting for to see if the offer is national too. M&S are also apparently launching a no fee current account this summer with a switching bonus (read online somewhere).
Worth keeping old accounts open until an incentive to switch.

Yes, I saw the PO offer when it appeared for the trial, but have not seen anything since...here's hoping
Only problem with it is that's it's BOI and their online banking [STRIKE]is[/STRIKE] was shockingly badlast I saw of it.

I also found a £4.25 dinner set. Is that the one that was posted yesterday? If so thanks whoever posted it......zippy? David.?
Decided to use the hand scanner today. I scanned my CC, picked up the flashing scanner, looked at the screen and it said......'Hello Nicole' :huh: I took it to the SA who told me it was a glitch in the system that they are aware about. Quite what the glitch is Im not sure because when I tried to scan my CC again it said I had a scanner in use. So obviously the system thought I was Nicole!! She opened a door in the scanning area that had a list of different BCs on and cancelled Nicole's details off my handset.
Anyway something to watch out for when scanning, I'm not sure whether Nicole or I would have got the CC points from the shop?? :eek:When The Fun Stops Stop0 -

Edit: :doh: - oh (I suspect) I see now - don't mean literally found them, as in the street, probably(ha ha:rotfl: - I can never be sure:rotfl:) mean found them in the bottom of your handbag or something like that. Boohoo!
No they were mineDon't quite know why I had 2 though? Ive been recycling them daily this week....or I thought I had? Obviously I didn't one day. No doubt one of the days when I had to shop like it was an episode of Supermarket Sweep!

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr why not max:mad::mad::mad:
Dont you find max and regular very similarly packaged ? It would be easy enough for someone to pick up the wrong ones and go to Cs for an exchange (after you 've lost the receipt)
Hypothetically of courseApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

I think ive sorted it.
the on line basket is wrong. if you add 6 currys and 6 sides it should come to £18. this is what it would come to in store.
it wrongly lets you add 6 currys and 12 sides to come to £18
so when you get your invoice the latter would come to a lot more, that's why all of the discounts were not showing.
so the original deal I posted still stands at 2 currys and 2 sides for deal. but best comparison is to get 6 and 6 against Morrison to get it all for £9
eta the online deal is still wrongly picking up the remnants of an old deal, which was 2 currys 2 sides and 2 snacks. but with this in mind next time that offer is on I may try 2 currys with 4 sides to see if it works.
That would be same principle as T Finest Meal Deal which works with either 2 sides or 2 puddings instead of 1 of each. Sloppy programming but hey who's complaining?
Wonders if it would work with 2 mains or even better 2 wines?0
