She's good with her drinks thankfully, she drinks bottled water, but only likes Highland Spring. Apparently the other 'flavours' go off once the bottle has been opened. :o:p:cool::rotfl: Dad has a big bottle in fridge and keeps topping up small one.
When I got there this lunchtime she wanted a cuppa, my sis had made her one about an hour before and the mug was empty. She drank the second one too, and that's when I said you better go to loo. Her bladder is stronger than mine.
Will take the advise on board though and defo keep an eye as I know they are so easy for her to pick up. :A

Hi I hope you don't mind me replying to your quote.
One of my family members suffers from renal/heart problems and also has recurring UTI's (although it's been settled for a while now, fingers crossed). During one of the conversations with the GP about it they suggested that it may be beneficial to take a low dose antibiotic as a preventative measure to try and stop infection developing.
Might be worth mentioning if they are recurring.

Ignore this Elsie, Just catching up and seen you posted about antibiotics have to be avoided due to other treatment.
    Sorry.

  • Don't know of how much use it'll be to anyone but just found a 3 pack of No More Nails cartridge pack on Amazon for £8.58 (free next day with prime), considering other stores are selling a single for around the £6 mark it's a bargain & always good to have kicking about

I suspect, as usual, I'll be left with my shopping at the end being the best shops. I never like it when they buy stuff that's somewhat cheaper elsewhere but then put it with stuff that's a lot more expensive and thus lose the comparison vs the cheaper price and the 10%. But then I'm a pedant:).

My shopping done, minus the Nivea. I'd have a chuckle though if someone now bought those three Pearl Beauty with an Invisible and paid £4:rotfl::rotfl:. And then failed to check the receipt and get the little bit back after doing that!:rotfl:
  • WWC, could you please tell me what this glitch is...

I am too ill to go shopping, but I strangely still have a NEED to know the details of a glitch!

    :D:D:D:D
Sorry sunshine was out with DD, yeah there was talk of a Pepsi glitch but from what I've seen it didn't really materialise & wasn't £4 v £1

Does anyone know if hairdyes usually compare at Ts for a PP? It's so long since I bought any in there I don't remember. It's a sad day having to pay full price for it :( but I have a final HH to use so I could get a few to help me reach £40

Oh whilst I was looking at hairdye prices/comparisons at As on MSL, I spotted this. No good to me Im trying to get colour on my hair.....not take it off!! But might interest someone

Good spot. It's those little things of those type that attract my notice. Perhaps I prefer low individual price and more costly mbuy. But one of these types of 'offers' though (individual price more expensive than cost for multi-purchasing), if they really are available like that, was showing (although it was actually different item and different prices) but, on this example, would have been 2 for £8 on the SEL even though the price had gone to straight £9.97 each:eek::eek:. Sadly they only ever had one unit available in my store and later the SEL mbuy was taken off so that was the end of that!

Look out though, if these - or items on similar price set-ups - are in store showing the mbuy pricing, as this much higher individual price could mean the mbuy is in fact no longer on. You then buy in twos:D, at nice overcharge £9.97 x 2 (would have been particularly nice if this were to have been in T). If it goes through at 2 for £8, perhaps your wallet/purse has suddenly gone awol so that, sadly, you have to abandon your shopping at that "embarrassing":D point:rotfl:. (What a pain:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:!)

Or - instead - it could mean a very very good item to combine with something else in the mbuy (if the mbuy is really on);).

    Hello,
I popped into sada to look for the gammon (thank you fairclaire, I think)and found all sorts of meat being reduced. I asked an SA and he said they are changing the range due to summer coming.
From memory and from what I bought these were the deals:
Own brand chicken thighs or drumsticks (big box) was £4 now £2
Extra special sausages (various flavours) 6 pack was £3.19 now £1.59
Extra special cocktail sausages (24 pack?) was £? Now £1.35
Smart price unsmoked middle bacon was £1.40 now £0.70
Gammon joint 1.4kg unsmoked and smoked was £5.50 now £3.50.

They were still marking up the sel when I was in there but I haven't anymore freezer room now even if they had more reduced meat.

    HTH someone. :)

Same in my store too, however.... my freezer is the same, and I live alone so its hard work getting through all the food. 1 chicken could feed me for a whole week, lunch as well as tea :(
