How to drink fizz....chapter 1
There's no need to get arsey with the cork (as men do) you haven't won the Grand Prix guys(it's not mandatory to use 2 thumbs) ......chapter 2

Well good for a gadget person I suppose? But I'm with you I'd rather heave and moan over a tea towel:rotfl:
OH and I went to a funeral in our younger days. The wake was in the house and it was a bloody grim affair!! Obviously not par takers of alcohol. They had wine but no corkscrew (back in the days before screw caps) OH and I constructed a wine cork getter outer from a screw and a piece of stringwe spent half an hour opening the wine.......and when it was opened we found out it was dessert wine

We won't expect to see you surface before tomorrow evening then!
I couldn't do the amount of driving you have had to over last few weeks. Good not much longer but hope you have something else lined up when it finishes.
I'm much better today thank you.
I'm planning to sleep for a week, regain my sanity and then hunt for work. Actually I have a few days in June at Taste of London (not a !!!!!! event Dotty!), but nothing elseI've worked out so far I've driven just over 11,500 miles in 7 weeks

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EkbebJbvu_A I've had this in my head all day (don't listen with children around or you absolutely love the James Bond theme tune, it's all you'll hear!)I have never heard of this. In my day there were a Jay and a separate Silent Bob and that was the right way for the world to be. They were in one of the funniest films ever made.
Dogma is my favourite, didn't find Clerks funny at all
Morning all 'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0 -

Please take this in the way that it's intendedold age is a bu**er but it's also a blessing many of us don't get to experience. Both my parents died far too young
Life is so bittersweet sometimes. I hope your mum remains as well as possible for as long as possible and enjoy her whilst she does
Thanks FC, I know exactly what you mean. My mum is 91 and was deemed well enough to come out of hospital yesterday. Earlier in the day I heard that a lady of 64 who went to the same aqua fit class as me had passed away a couple of days before. Sometimes it's all very hard to make sense of.0
