Anyway this is my good news - at the moment I can't stop crying and sobbing so if anyone want a to join me please do, it will make me look slightly less demented if we form a chorus of wailing banshees.

My eldest son has been out on tour for the last six months, a black tour with no leave whatsoever, he went at the end of September 2013.

And finally he is on his way home, don't know the flight details but I had an email from him to say they are in the business lounge at Istanbul - so finally he is out of that ghastly place and on his way back - they don't get released until either Monday or Tuesday and even then he has a 5 hour drive but he is at least heading towards the Uk and landing sometime tonight.

Really glad, he's safe. Awful feeling know someone is far away and you may not see them again.

I will let someone else read this and come up with an answer. I will cancel via live chat and at the same time cancel my paypal payment

Your cancellation rights: (i) during a trial period: You may cancel your trial subscription within the first 7 days of your trial start date or by giving at least 15 days’ notice before the end of your trial period. If you do not cancel in accordance with these terms during your trial period you will automatically continue into a full contract at the standard price; (ii) except during a trial period: you may cancel within first 7 days of full subscription start date or by giving at least 15 days’ notice not to expire before end of the Initial Period. To cancel after the Initial Period you must give at least 15 days’ notice before your next payment is due if you are a digital only customer; or the end of your then current voucher booklet if you receive print newspapers/vouchers as a part of your subscription package; (iii) information for all cancelling customers: upon cancellation all subscription benefits will immediately cease.Cancellation notices must be given to TNL customer services only (see thetimes.co.uk for up to date contact details).Refunds will only be given if you cancel within the first 7 days of your trial or full subscription start date in accordance with these terms and conditions.

Thank you - it is odd that they say all subscription benefits cease immediately on cancellation - even access? They can't mean that as you cancel 15 days before monthly renewal and would then have paid for a month but only have had 15 Days?

Does any one know what the highest costs of sky tv is (I have been trying to search and cannot find it). Don't worry I have not lost the plot, it is research related!

Pah, I have tried 2 times to do the times thing, and both times, after going through paypal, and getting to the next page, it says
