Morning folks, Happy St Georges Day.

Am :mad::mad::mad: with Argos just now.

Ordered 2x TONKA TOWN FIRE ENGINE the other day for up and coming B/days. £4.99 each reduced from £19.99. Yay, bargain. Just have to wait for them to be delivered to store.

I also ordered one of those £10 argos vouchers for £5 and code came through yesterday, meaning both pressies for £5, or so I thought.

Have just received email from argos, my order is in store and ready to collect, at £19.99 EACH.

    Well they can keep them!

so, does this mean we can put the travel deos in with this shop now then? 6 different barleys, 2 different normal squash and (4) 2 different deos with no need for fillers. ?
It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.

  • Warning to all ref A E-Vouchers. Keep a VERY close eye on your accounts.

A couple of weeks ago some of my vouchers disappeared. I know it's happened to others here. Mine were refunded (£22.00) after a call. I then took screenshots to see if it happened again as I suspected there were issues.

I've not used my online account for a couple of weeks now, but have just logged in to check my vouchers. This time £35 has gone. Another call and they've been refunded.

Amazingly A owned up immediately and said they've had numerous calls ref this and have a serious tech issue with vouchers being lost from accounts which has been escalated to the top.

Be warned folks, keep a close eye on this and take screenshots. You may need it as proof when you have to make that call.

Might be worth a trip if not too far out of your way. I showed my store the order confirmation at Xmas when a similar thing happened and they let me have the item at the cheaper price :)
