Thanks for the heads up re the cat food. had a great run getting 18 boxes (and 18 bowls!!). My niece (who has the cat is well pleased). her eyes widened when she saw them all !!

Good morning. At least it will be once this mist has gone. I find it lovely to wake up to the sounds of birds singing, especially as this now includes the frantic cheeping of a nestful of hungry baby birdlings under my window.

My brattiest cat noisily knocking books off the shelf by by bed one by one got me up at dawn again. And I am still trying to reward him with some of the free cat food! I looked for the catbowls in Hastings yesterday. No sign in churchwood, but have any of the locals found them in Bexhill, or maybe Eastbourne or Ashford?? Thanks, and hope you all have a lovely day!
