Hi :hello:
Unplanned child free night, DS staying with my mum to give him and me a bit of a break but I'm finding it very hard not to worry.
My dad is in Manchester for the week visiting friends so DS thought his nanny would be a bit lonely but did worry about me coping on my own.
He has been worrying a lot about me, he won't let me out of his sight for too long and it has been bothering me since my last A&E visit so I asked him. He's been worrying about me dying, he overheard the doc talking about both surgery risks and the risk of the now two abscesses bursting. He's now terrified of being left alone, no matter how many times I reassure him it wouldn't sink in so I told him the best way to help me is to help me get the surgery sooner. So he's been researching exercises to do, he's cleared space around the cross trainer and told me I need to start building up my stamina on it. I just hope this helps reassure him I plan to be here until he's an old man.
It just seems to be one thing after another for the poor wee guy. I'm just on the look out for any worrying signs it's getting too much for him.

We were sat in a jam at some traffic lights today and DS2 spotted a house called 'fenella' as he does. He likes signs  and he said 'did we know fenella fudge lived near us' I stupidly said 'who's fenella fudge?'.......I was enlightened on the rest if the journey as to exactly fenella fudge isand then I disappointed him at the end by telling him it wasn't her house :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

(Sorry, the point's not that you've put 'if' rather than 'of':p but rather about him going on and telling you exactly who she is:rotfl:.)0 -

Oh SD....a worry I know....but children are so resilient.....the research and the exercises are good...it will help focus his mind in a positive way.
Keep the lines of communication open so he can talk about any worries he is having.....you can probably tell him in all honesty that the exercises are helping and making you feel stronger and he may draw comfort from this.

The boogers will be out though and putting that correct:( if they'd been given an extra day.
But...this day can be useful for us/me! With those stores that were shut on Sunday, extra chance for their fresh fruit to go a day further and nearer out of date!:D:D:D I remember the day back after Christmas when my Morries was left with a load of fruit, that they'd not sold as they had been closed, on its expiry date. I hope yesterday has left a load of fresh items to get nicely nearer their date than normal and a load of reduced prices for us today!!:D:D:)
Savvy you are an absolute shiny star and you don't even know it! You make me:):):):):) so much! Love your posts sooooo much. I'm going to bed happy because you made me smile
