Thank you for this. It's made my day seeing this and made me feel included:T. I'm often your lonely one but you know, we all need this from time to time and - like that recognition that comes from seeing someone and acknowledging them in the street - it's scratched my 'social itch' for today:T. It's made me feel warm inside too. Alright that's enough of my self-congratulation and egotism:rotfl::rotfl:, instead a tune (or load of tunelessness depending on your view):D.

:rotfl::rotfl: Actually I like that song (if that's what it qualifies as;)), although it's one that, for reasons of being too truthful to be uncomfortable, I find embarassing to play out with my parents around. I like it because it's a happy celebration-type song (a dance song to dance to, party and therefore happy), though I guess I've missed the point again: the lyrics are actually emotive and saddening (to someone who doesn't have much of a social life?), but, with my context-blindness, I overlook that as usual!
Lol:rotfl::rotfl: - I've had this before, liked a song because I simply liked the sound or the beat or something and therefore found it quite funky and a happy song - only to be told, years later, when I happened to mention it, one of my colleagues said it was a very sad song because it was on about someone's death. Puff Daddy - Missing You. You know, that never occurred to me:wall::o, I just thought it was quite happy to listen to and sing along to:rotfl: (orif I should be in a sombre mood:o:o).
Oh, that Alice Deejay song just ended there a bit prematurely didn't it - guess I'd got used to listening to 12" versions!:D
Look, do not worry - no need for your sympathy or empathy folks, I'm perfectly happy these days as I am, and social life stuff is perhaps less and less important as you continue in your adult years, so yeah there's reasons, and ... I'd better stop myself now otherwise I'll start filling myself up about it:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: (more from my being proud at myself nowadays). Ah!!:heart2::easter::)
Anyway - I noticed even DM thanked that OP despite being called "DiM":rotfl:.0 -

Was there a theme?
Had you been invited or are you just wandering in to other people's parties?
