The nivea pearl and cotton wool pads are on offer 4 for $3 which is why the nivea is comparing at 75p each. The Aussie conditioner you paid for price for. Should you have just got the nivea pearl and the conditioner and NOT the cotton pads as well it would have compared well
thank you for explaining. The cotton wool pads were not even in the section and no label about multi. Can't believe i messed up. I may have to go back and try again.0 -
Savvybuyer wrote: »Or - although we hate waste - you could just put the 4 bottles in the bin outside as you leave. May as well - it pays you to take them, and reduces the number of other items required in the shopping to reach at least 8. Now if that isn't a tempter...:D:D. Or just keep them to sell on or something:money:.
These Savvy tempters, for once, aren't items that cause you to spend more money (provided you were already going to do an Avs T shop of course).:D:D:money::money:
I wasnt planning a shop at all today. Im planning to do some gardening when I finish work. Although I do like donating things so maybe.
Ps have you gotten all the extra nectar points ?0 -

Yes I have used the conditioner and baby powder instead of invisible and it . The hand gel doesn't scan in the 4 for $3 deal, neither does the lynx Apollo. Not tried any of the others.
Welcome to the thread:). You're a fantastic glitcher and I hope you keep going and telling us of further things:D.:T:T:T0 -

Just an observation, but I have never understood how small corner shops stay in business these days. They seem to work extensive hours with few customers buying few items, you struggle to see how it can be profitable. I would rarely buy anything in them as they are generally overpriced ... Though to be fair maybe I am not a normal shopper as I live in supermarkets
.

Many of us have the luxuries of cars or otherwise can get out to our nearest supermarkets without problem. To someone, elderly, lacking mobility (sorry for the stereotyping:o), perhaps they can only manage to get to their nearest corner shop a few streets away and/or don't want the hassle of being in a crowded supermarket. There's a market somewhere for 'convenience'.0 -
I think someone was after a wasabi plant before?

I keep collecting them, on adpoints:D. Even though my [gmail-type] email account keeps being locked at the moment but that's another story. I've not been at Sains. lately as they are way too expensive or requiring spend of £20. Needing to reduce my spending there after my faux pas with the £40:eek: purchasing of fuel. The Nectar points pretty rubbish IMO due to the limited selection of categories of items involved:(. So, no, I'm waiting for a better offer before I then go for that. Meanwhile, I'll stay away from Sainsbobs and collect points on Adpoints:D.
I'd be collecting extra CC points at T though if I had a cat! That's extremely good there (perhaps up to a maximum limit with CC use). Nice boost and better than any of the ones that they advertise:rotfl:. Also gives petrol promo. spending, I hope. Now there is where I would make an exception and use a petrol promo.:money:0
