    Evening all :)

    Circumvented all the tourists.

Emergency brake for a(n) ewe and her 2 lambs, that decided a break out of the field was required. An doesn't sound right, but then should be an as followed by a vowel?!

Toad in the hole tonight, with some lovely finest sausages that were part of the orchard trial a bit back :)

Sunny in North Yorks too Dr K :) Enjoy your quiche :)
Struggling with this one...an ewe doesn't sound right... will just have to be 'a sheep'.

I think this is one of the strange ones that has "a" preceding a vowel, as the vowel sounds like a consonant. So you say a ewe.

    :) I have an answer :)

    Asked DS1.

He said it's a ewe. Because phonetically ewe's first sound is a y, so it follows the consonant rules :)

So, a ewe, it is :)
