I seem to have light bulbs coming out of my ears. Goodness knows where my mum got them all from, I had not bought her any for years. Some must have been OAP offers as were boxed with her name and address. ;)

I even left few round the bungalow.

We have absolutely loads of light bulbs. When I was working in Martin's (the newsagent) The Sun had an offer of two free light bulbs with the paper, they are the old style energy saving ones. Nobody wanted them so we took a box each home. I think I have used two out of it, so suspect we have a lifetime's supply of these ones, only problem being we prefer the screw in bulbs and are gradually converting the fittings to them. Not all of them, but the ones where it is more convenient to have a screw (read that as you will :D), so really will never have to buy another bayonet light bulb

Do you know E the best bit was when I signed the slip and said is that all. :rotfl:

We had 6 years left and I had not realised just how much we had been chipping away at it last couple years, we must have been past the tipping point of paying more interest than capital for longer than I thought. :D

I even remembered to cancel the mortgage protection insurance. So even less to pay out each month. It will make such a difference. :j

Couple years will fly by and you can join what I think must be a very exclusive club this day and age. :o

We know roughly where ours is, and we know that the vast majority of our payments are now coming off the capital. We had a strange phone call from the bank not long ago asking if we were planning on continuing paying, rather strange and still have not really sussed out what it was about, and it was definitely them

Just one question, what are you planning on doing with your deeds? You do know you should not keep them in the house they apply to don't you/

Anyone know what to do with 26 ceramic cat bowls? I've only got one cat :D

With thanks to It's a Secret for a great glitch

Give them to cats charity or your local PDSA.

I have just rang Portrack and it's £6.98 so it won't work from this store sadly. X

How do you know where your C&C order comes from? We only have an Asda Living, so can't check instore? That's where I get my c&c delivered to. The other option I guess is to try it and refuse if full price.

Just read this in my Save The Student email.

Get 24 x 330ml cans of Coca Cola or Diet Coca Cola for £6 from Tesco.
You can pick up the deal in store or online.

    http://www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/Details/?id=273867627&sc_cmp=aff_1544990 :)

That's what I was looking for, thanks! 30 cans for less than a fiver, that'll do me :D

Well guys I got there. :o And has to be thanks to you all pulling me along the way. :A

Just drove past the bungalow on the way back from paying off my mortgage and removal van there. Very weird feeling is all I can say.

I spent couple hours there this morning saying my goodbyes to an empty house, laid on the floor like I did when I was a kid staring up at the ceiling. And sitting in the sunshine on the concrete step outside. Had to be done one last time. :o

Left when I felt ready to as was all such a rush getting it empty yesterday. As soon as I walked back in the door at home I got the completion call. :)

Hope no one minds hearing this tune again but today really is a new day for me and I was very lucky the sun was shining. ;)
