Well guys I got there. And has to be thanks to you all pulling me along the way. :A

Just drove past the bungalow on the way back from paying off my mortgage and removal van there. Very weird feeling is all I can say. :eek:

I spent couple hours there this morning saying my goodbyes to an empty house, laid on the floor like I did when I was a kid staring up at the ceiling. And sitting in the sunshine on the concrete step outside. Had to be done one last time.

Left when I felt ready to as was all such a rush getting it empty yesterday. As soon as I walked back in the door at home I got the completion call.

Hope no one minds hearing this tune again but today really is a new day for me and I was very lucky the sun was shining.

You got there Im glad the sun was shining for you today. Time for a new chapter now. All the memories are still where you put them

Not that 47p matters much....I just hate going over the cap

It feels good to be sat in a house that is totally ours now. Good job the lady at the bank knew me as don't think anyone else would have been so happy someone coming in not long before closing time to pay off their mortgage.

She often served my mum when I took her every week and has the patience of a saint, she was genuinely pleased for me and said congratulations as she passed over the receipt.
