    I got !!!!!flu. It ain't nice and my throat feels exactly like it did when I used to get tonsillitis :eek:

    I had them out about 17 years ago but you never forget that telltale feeling

    Feel better soon :D

    Shoot. I thought once you had them out you never suffered from it again? Hope you are back to normal soon pet.

    I think I know how I got it. I re-used a bottle of water. I filled it with water again and not felt the same since. Note to self, never re-use a bottle of water ever again!

    evening all, sent the day at hospital after oh had half a tree fall on his head :eek::eek: our doctors were brill saw him within 20 mins then sent him for xray so no waiting in A and E luckily no damage to bones he is sore and has cuts and brusies, very lucky escape could have been far worse.. The one thing that the x ray showed though is that he has arthritis in the spine we have to go to our doctors and discuss this so not sure how serious it is but he says it has not bothered him so cant be that bad,

    hope everyone else had a better day and managed to enjoy the glitches..

    Glad he ok rhosynbach god was looking over him.

    And, while I'm away, I'll leave you with this out-take from the BBC News Channel for you to entertain yourselves with:

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/tv/bbcnews/live

    Only available for the next 1 hour 51 minutes or so. Just 'restart the programme' (or scroll back to 8pm if it's gone 9) and wait a moment and you'll see what I mean!:D:rotfl::rotfl:

    You'll still need a telly licence though:(:(, even though you're only going back and watching something that isn't 'as live' now!:mad:

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    We've had a couple of other out-takes very recently - in fact two on the same day, last Saturday (or was it yesterday?:think: - I don't know, days blur into one another). The first, the effect was only seen on BBC ONE - the lunchtime bulletin, they switched a fraction too early and got the end screen of the News Channel just before Maxine Mawhinney came on (showed the image of the outside of New Broadcasting House). The second, on the first of the evening bulletins with Kate Silverton, someone was heard to say "can we turn her down?" over the introductory sequence. V funny! Although I have to say that one tonight was the best!!:rotfl::rotfl::D (I like his dramatic pause after he says "Good evening and welcome to BBC News" - that just keeps setting me off:rotfl:lol!)

    It has to have been Saturday rather than Sunday as I don't think there was any lunchtime bulletin on BBC ONE yesterday as it was London Marathon! So, yes, it was two on Saturday just gone.:)

    I only refill bottles of water from bigger bottles ;)

    Mines come from work. I banned lurgy-ous people from our office and they had to stand by the door. Bad move as I still had to walk in and outta that door :o:mad:

    Believe it or not, I don't know the thinking behind tonsillitis without tonsils. I'll ask tomorrow but I'm off for a google now :cool:
