Sadly I am no longer a great gran in waiting. My granddaughter lost her baby yesterday - it was an unplanned pregnancy and an early miscarriage but it's still very sad for everyone. She is very young to have to cope with this. Its hard to find the right words to say to her even though I do know what she must feel as I've been in the same situation myself.

tbw I am so sorry for your granddaughter's loss, it is so hard as you say and I am struggling to find the right words even though I have been in same situation as you & your DGD. Have a big tiny hug. :A

I'm sure he would :D as an extra mature student myself, I probably appreciate it more! :D:rotfl::rotfl:
Yes, he is doing very well. Thanks for asking. He is loving uni and is still helping me out way much more than he should have to :A

I hope you are well too, haven't seen you posting much lately.

Talking of people not posting much.......haven't seen thrifty sister lately? :( Im hoping she is off somewhere sunny and I missed it?

No London last week - relative visiting the weekend before we left, and chasing my tail rest of the time. Trying to fit in going to allotment and bit of work too - funny how housework no longer figures in that :D. Usually catch up at an ungodly hour and have nothing relevant to say - nightshift usually finished or has moved off the glitches by then. Don't know how you manage it all Fairclaire ....

Sorry can't help with Thrifty sister but suspect away - hopefully we'll hear soon.:)

Hello elite. I'm just about to head to bed. As some of you who are on my Facebook might know, I'm taking part in the Red Shoe walk for the Red Cross next month. If any of you could spare even 50p for this great charity I'd be truly grateful. I'm considering a bake sale and other things to get my total up but for now thought I'd post here if I may.

No pressure to give whatsoever but I'd love you long time if you did.

I am not wrong. Ask karlie to compare raisin bakes against Tesco. I posted the results enough times

Bakes work out at 14p per pack.

Zips has mentioned it in the past.

    :)
