...can you just put the prize you've won in title and suck up later in the post?

You might call it sucking up, but I would not and I think it is right and proper to thank the particular person who posted the competition if you know who they are - after all, if they had not done so, you and I could not have had the chance to win that particular prize - no one else.0

It seems someone is a little angry at the world...or just very grumpy!Since starting again after beanie: June 2016: Child development DVDs, Massive Attack tickets. July: Aberystwyth trip, hotmilk nightie. Aug: £10 Hipp Organic vouchers, powerpack. September: Sunglasses. October: £30 poundland vouchers.0 -
Hahaha why does it matter?0

those who thank people in the title don't "suck up" it's called gratitude! if you want to see what the person has won, then open the thread! I think you're just being lazy (or attention seeking)! You'll never know if you don't try!0

So the person who they are thanking can see without having to open every thread?0

I dont think it matters... i try and say Thanks to ... and what the prize is in the title...BACK and READY..... waiting on Royal Mail!!!0

I see you have just won yourself a nice prize
I wonder if it hadn't been for the OP who had taken the time out of their day to find and post that competition whether you would have been so fortunate . How anyone decides to thank the person who has made their win possible is up to them and passing on your gratitude is hardly sucking up.0 -
For me, If you you just hover the mouse cursor over the thread link, a box appears underneath with the content of the Thread post..
This way you can see what the poster won without opening the thread, might be a solution for you lol0
