Land Registry Restriction/Debt Agency

Hi all,
I have posted this in the mortgage bit as well - apologies, I have also asked for advice there re: notice to a landlord.
I wondered whether anyone here has any experience of having a restriction placed on their property register.
We are buying a house and the seller declared themselves brankrupt - there is a restriction on the property register which requires an RX4/signature of the person from the debt agency.
Has anyone ever had one removed? Our sellers solicitors are in the process of requesting it to be removed but we are desperate to know a rough time scale - is it a long process? They have said our two week completion date 'may' or 'may not' be possible, they just don't know. Just looking for any experiences with the above?
Thanks for reading
