Argos debt collection agency (FRS)

Financial Recovery Services. I bought one product from argos last year with my argos card (the one and only thing that I've ever used it for) and didn't pay it, the debt was refered to FRS and I did have a conversation with them and agreed to call them back on the start of this month to pay something back towards the debt, but guess what, I never called because I had quite a few things going on and so I forgot, now I am scared to even call them, I have heard nothing from them and am now worried that's because they have decided to stop chasing me and are preparing to court.

Never ever speak to a DCA on the phone, do everything in writing, how much are they chasing you for ? court action only ever a last resort, and then only if its a fair amount of money as a general rule, is this some thing you can afford to pay off monthly ? if so, next time they make contact, write and offer what you can afford.
