we will hopefully be moving into our new house v.soon!
mortgage is much bigger than we have now, but we are in the very fortunate position of being able to clear the few debts we have and we will be starting afresh.
not sure at the mo what we will be able to over pay until we get settled in and know what our monthly out goings will be, how ever i have a rough idea that we should be able to put aside £50 a month at the very least, which i didnt think sounded much but going by the calculators even that that will shave some time of the mortgage and thats just the starting amount so hopefully we will be able to add to that as time goes on.
am feeling v excited but i have no desire to be paying my mortgage over 25 years!the sooner its gone the better!
i have been popping onto this board to follow the threads for a while now but it was more wishful thinking however i'm going to now go and have a good read though with the knowledge that i will very soon be one of you and can put all your good tips and advice into my action plan!
will let you know when i'm officialy a MFW!

I know how you feel!
I'm working to pay off my credit card at the moment, but I know there is no point on starting on the mortgage until thats done with. Still, I can't wait to start making overpayments on my mortgage!
I hope everything moves quickly for you!
