bank statements for mortgage...paperless

Evening all...

I am applying for a mortgage with Santander, they have asked for my last 3 months bank statements (standard I konw) but I do all my banking online and paperless.
What format will they accept or I am I gong to have to pay my bank (Lloyds) to print off the last 3 months!

If they fail the requirements of Santander's statement guidelines i would recommend going to the bank getting them to print and stamp them in branch.

Thankfully lenders are getting wiser to the fact that they encourage most people go paperless these days (given they promote it) and you shouldn't have too much trouble with printed statements.

As above however, wouldn't hurt to have it printed and stamped by your branch.

My mortgage company were happy with paper printed statements so long as they have the URL (web address) on the printout. I bank with lloyds and mortgage is with skipton building society.

Most online banking has a facility to either download a "replica" statement which will be fine, otherwise ensure you get the https address along with your name, address, and account number shown.

HSBC took my OH's printed payslips and bank statements - he's paperless for both!
