Friday 11th April - What small DFW things will you do today?

When we start out on the Debt-Free Wannabe trail we do loads of big "stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the Gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free...
Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending:money:

Hello Friday Savers,
Today's small positive money-saving things:
*Saved a little bit of energy by sharing some nice hot bath water, turning off de-humidifyer & opening windows instead, using hot leftover kettle water with some soda crystals to pre-soak mouldy bathroom blind & not having any heating on at all, now that it's April.
*Made more bread rolls for freezer (more Easter supplies for family coming to stay). Done, just about to go in oven.
*Made a loaf in BM. Done, just cooling.
*Golden lentil soup in slow cooker for lunches over the weekend (This was 'Use-it-up' as found lots of ham stock in the freezer doing not a lot & taking up space, so have turned it into useful soup).
*More 'Use-it-up' - Used the last little bit of an ancient body scrub this morning, so was able to chuck out another bit of clutter.
*Watered & checked veggie seedlings.
*Took delivery of online shopping order & checked we got correct discount, points, etc.
*Updated grocery budget.
*Changed bed linen & got it straight in the washer so as to take advantage of a good line-drying day outside.
*Make do & mend......my mending pile fell out of the airing cupboard for the umpteenth time this morning so am now nearly half way through getting it finished.
*Think about whether there's a book or similar I could get from Amazon to go in the present box as have received another £5 voucher from participating in the Heinz online survey project I was recruited for. (That's £15 in total, so far, for really very little of my time).
*Do surveys. Lots of Toluna surveys today.....am already less than 8,000 points from next voucher cash-in & it only seems like a short while since the last one. They do mount up.
*Knit some more of current project for present box.
*Make a big job-list for tomorrow....not particularly money-saving, but we are going to tackle some major jobs this weekend to have the house & garden nice for our guests over Easter. mr f raring to go!
*Meals as per meal plans - mr f's cooking night. Bit of a 'Use-it-up' night as some veg needs using, some de-frosted chicken & a home-made curry sauce from the freezer.
*Pay this month's credit card bill off in full (soon be time for another voucher from that too!)
Right, must get a move on. Technology is all very well, but can be a serious thief of time!
Have a good start to the weekend, everyone,
