Photo cake - how big are the photos

I have been tasked with sorting out a cake to celebrate the cricket club's 25th anniversary. I was thinking of having the logo from the shirts printed on a cake from one of the supermarkets (I know ASDA do them).
How big would the image be? Is it the size of a 6x4 photo or can it be the size of the whole cake? I need to go for the large serve 40 people one?

When I've bought a photo cake in the past the image covered the whole top of the cake and looked fab!
The bakery staff in store will be able to confirm for you0
