Unemployed by the end of financial year. Where do I get my p60 from?

Hi,
I worked for a couple of companies last financial year but wasn't working by the end of the financial year. My last company tells me that, as I wasn't working for them the last day of the finalcial year, they cannot issue it for me.
So... Where do I get it from? HMRC automatically sends it to me by post? Do I have to call them? Fill something online and rebate money if applies?
Thanks
PS: Can anyone recommend a tax calculator where I enter all my income and the taxes I paid, and tells me if I overpaid taxes or if I have to pay?

Use the P45(s) instead.
P60s are issued only to people on the payroll as at 5th April, so if you had no job then you won't get one.Who having known the diamond will concern himself with glass?

You won't get a P60, if you don't have an employer or on benefits.0

If you were on JSA at the end of the financial year then they should send you a variant on the P60
If you werent claiming benefits then the P45 from the last job is what you use instead as itll show the year end position0 -
Cool, thanks everybody. I'm not on JSA, so I will use my p450
