Hey All,
Anyone who has had mortgages with Nationwide how long did it take for you to hear back.
Our broker has said we should receive everything within 2-3 weeks!! i am far too impatient to wait that long.
Just wondered if it may be quicker than that!

Hi,
ours took 2 weeks for the offer but we had loads of problems with our application.
Have you had the Survey done yet?
usually you get a text message for each stage 1 message to say application recieved, 2nd message Survey instructed, 3rd message to say Survey satisfactory (if it is) 4th Message to say mortgage offer being sent

Hi, it took 2 weeks 2 days for us to get ours- this is with help2buy in scotland, not sure if that meant it took a bit longer?
Our valuation was done 2 days after the application was submitted0 -

We did the application direct but you will get text messages if your mobile no was on the application. Funnily enough I just got another text from them telling me my Solicitor has requested funds ready for our completion date of 16/04/14.
Good Luck with it

I take it they wouldnt do the valuation if they were going to decline? or do they do it anyways?0 -

From application to offer ours was 11 days! That was direct with them, using Save to Buy. Valuation was booked day after application and was the following week, when it had been done we had a text the same day to say the official offer was in the post.0

Have you paid for your valuation as yet?
They wanted us to wait nearly three weeks for a valuation!0 -
