HI

just got a letter form courts in Northampton that next is taking me to court for CCJ and claiming total 280.86 £15 court fees £50 solicitors fees. will there be more fees?

I have other debt that an agreement have not been met yet, but this one seems top the list now. just need some advice on what can I do about it. the fees of £215 are a bill from owing them £105 and this has grown by letter/no payment fees do I put on claim form i admit the amount £105 or i admit the full sum?

Can I settle this out court or has this case gone too far for me to try pull it away from the CCJ order.

Next solicitor is
Nelsons
Pennine house

claiming though
moneyclaim.gov.uk

I have other debts that I am in middle of trying agree payments with before thee take court action and I forgot next and now thee taking court action. i also can not get on my next account as thee disable it so I can not prove how much I was owing

    Hello there,

You may be able to settle the debt at this point although it is likely that you would have to cover any fees associated with the court claim. In fact, you can clear the debt in full up to 30 days after the judgment has been entered against you and it will not show up on your credit file.

Alternative you can respond to the claim by completing the n9a 'admission' form and make an offer of payment. This should be sent to the creditor who when decide whether or not to accept your offer of payment. If they do not wish to do so, they should inform the court who will then determine the rate of payment based upon how much their believe you realistically can afford.
