We have found a slightly cheaper house and another broker has offered us a better mortgage than the other one.
Is it the norm to offer less than asking price on a new build?
Do builders normally negotiate on price on a new build?
OH wants to offer 10% less.
As anyone managed to successfully get a new build cheaper than the advertised price?
Thanks

            OH is being conservative.
If your builder has a year end date in June they could be especially ripe to negotiate.
PM me and I can email you a link to a list of major builder's year end dates.I am a Mortgage Broker

Thanks, just checked and June would be closer to half year end rather year end.
Assume this means they possibly wont negotiate?0
