ferry crossing holyhead - dan loaghaire...cheap

ticket used to be purchased for about £10 either from the holyhead side or both sides. it was a scheme run by the shops in both of those towns that enable consumers to do a cheap day trip. does this still exist as irish ferries and stena are still very expensive. i think that you might have had to show that you lived in that particular town.
