Hi. Was wondering if anyone could help me work outhow much tax I'm owed.

I was working from April- end of September last year on a salary of £41,000 and didn't work for the rest of the tax year.

I'm a bit confused as to how much I'll get back. For example would I get a rebate on overpaid NI as well or just on income tax.

Should add there was no pension or student loan payments to be made.

From your P45 give the gross and tax paid along with tax code. Assuming tax code is correct and there is nothing else to adjust or other taxable income it can then be worked out.
There will be no refund of NI.

If your tax code was correct, you can use online a PAYE tax calculator based on the gross pay and tax code as per your P45, or do the calculation manually by looking at the tax-free personal allowance (in relation to any benefits you might have received) and rate band figures for that particular tax year. Please look on hmrc.gov.uk
